Military Wives

My hat is off to all of our military wives. I have the utmost respect and love for our troops, they are in my prayers every night, and I am so grateful for their sacrifice! With my wonderful husband out of the country, it makes me get a small glimpse into the military wives' sacrifice! Paul and I have been apart only a night at a time, and when were apart we always had the phone so it was okay. He is in Honduras, and he has emailed me once and he cannot call. Not hearing from him ruins my whole day. We talk pretty much every hour of everyday, (whether by phone, email or text, depending on his work load). Not hearing from him makes the distance so hard. This is only for a week for me, and I am going crazy! Our poor military wives have to endure this for years on end, and they only get to see their husbands for only a few weeks, and then back to battle! I really appreciate your sacrifice, military wives, and I will continue to pray for your husbands and now I will be praying for y'all too! ♥

Paul, I am so in love with you Honey, and I am lost here without you! I cannot wait for you to come home where you belong! I am so blessed to call you my husband! It is midnight, and I am wide awake because your side of the bed is empty! :( I miss you so terribly, and I love you even more! ♥

Prayer Request for PK and the men of CCBC......

My precious husband is leaving tomorrow for a week for a missions trip with our church to Honduras! Pray for their safety, health (disentary), and that the people there will have open hearts to what these men have to say about our amazing Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Also pray for the wives at home. It is sad for me, but I do not have small children at home like some of the other wives, so pray for all of us!

♥ I miss him already, I can't wait until Sunday March 2!!! ♥

♥ Here he is being a goober at our wedding... I was a little annoyed when he was doing this, but now I love these pictures! ♥

Tracie's legacy???

Tracie and I have always been very anti-drinking, among other things.

After Tracie died, all her friends said how much they looked up to Tracie, and how they wanted to be like her.

Well, I know that Tracie would be so disapointed in all of her friends/people she cares about that have chose to drink... and do other things. I am just irritated that they "look up to her," but then they do nothing that she would agree with.

They say she left a legacy, but who is following this legacy?

♥ I love my sister, yes I do! ♥

EVERYONE, PLEASE READ!!!!!!!

Love Is Here - Tenth Avenue North

come to the waters,
you who thirst
and you'll thirst no more.
come to the father,
you who work
and you'll work no more.
and all you
who labor in vain
and to the
broken and shamed:
love is here. love is now. love is pouring from his hands, from his brows. love is near, it satisfies. streams of mercy flowing from his side.

This song is new on Christian radio, so new that I can't even download it yet. It is an amazing song! Just look at the lyrics! Christ's love is SO AMAZING! This picture is pretty amazing too! It is Jesus Christ as a young boy. He is in the workshop with His father. He is playing with three nails, and a cross is His shadow. He will be nailed to the cross some 30 years later with these three nails! Pretty powerful!

I know that you who are reading this may not know Christ like this. You may find it weird that I love God so much, that I would live my life only to serve Him, and I put Him before my husband, and before myself! Well, it is the most amazing thing in the world to know Christ, and I only know true love and happiness because He loves me. You too can know Christ if you accept Him into your heart! Afterwards, repent of your sin and follow Him all the days of your life.

Seriously, it is that easy. However if you choose not to accept Christ, you are in BIG TROUBLE. If you accept Christ you will go to Heaven, if you don't you will go to HELL! PERIOD! It doesn't matter how "good of a person you are."
If you do not know Christ, then God will not know you!

If I have struck a nerve, or if you want to know more, feel free to ask! I want you to! I want everyone to go to Heaven. I do not want any of you to go to Hell!

A year of love and slobber...

A year ago today we got Jersey. I never wanted a boy dog, or a maltese/bichon. A girl in class said her roomate neglected her puppy and I said I would take it... long story short, we got Jersey.

At first I was worried that I just wanted a dog so bad that I just settled on Jersey, and I wondered if it was a mistake. I always wanted a girl dog, and out of all the breeds I was deciding between, a maltese was never one I was considering.

Soon after we got him, I knew he was a very special dog and he stole my heart immediately! God sent us a very well behaved and loving dog! We just love him!

Today, Jersey and I went for a walk at Oyster Creek Park. That was where I first took him to teach him to walk on a leash. He loves it there now!

One Heartbeat At A Time * Steven Curtis Chapman

You're up all night with a screaming baby
You run all day at the speed of life
And every day you feel a little bit less
Like the beautiful woman you are

So you fall in bed when you run out of hours
And you wonder if anything worth doing got done
Well, maybe you just don't know
Or maybe you've forgotten

That you, you are changing the world
One little heartbeat at a time
Making history with every touch and every smile
Oh, you, you may not see it now
But I believe that time will tell
How you, you are changing the world
One little heartbeat at a time

With every "I know you can do it"
And every tear that you kiss away
So many little things that seem to go unnoticed
They're just like the drops of rain over time
They become a river

And you, you are changing the world
One little heartbeat at a time
Making history with every touch and every smile
Oh, you, you may not see it now
But I believe that time will tell
How you, you are changing the world
One little heartbeat at a time

You're beautiful
So beautiful
How you're changing the world
Yeah, you're changing the world

You, you are changing the world
One little heartbeat at a time
Making history with every touch and every smile
Oh, you, you may not see it now
But I believe that time will tell
How you, you are changing the world
Oh, I believe that you
You are changing the world
One little heartbeat
At a time

And you're changing the world

LOVE IS....

I was going through old emails between My Lobster and me, and I came across a few poems my Romeo wrote to me... here is part of one...

"I await a tender touch and sweet kiss, The precious eyes of a dove, with the heart so full of peace and love, Oh how I await."

This was written one month after we met, and we were a few weeks away from meeting in person. (For those of you who don't know, we met online). You can see how much we loved each other from the start. I am married to a man who loves trucks, John Wayne, tools, and ANYTHING masculine! I love that he is so manly... but what I really love is that even though he is so manly, he is not too manly to romance me!

Reading all these old emails amazed me. We met on April 6, 2006, and after 11 hours talking that first day, I knew I would marry him. A couple days after that poem we were saying "I love you," and a month after that he bought the ring. God truly brought us together and that is why neither of us ever questioned our love. We know our courtship was quick, (wet met 4.6.06, and were married 4.7.07), but we made a vow to God that we would love each other for better or worse, for sickness and in health, and nothing will get in the way of us keeping that vow.

We know that love is a feeling that could dwindle in the years, but we did not get married merely over a romantic love. We are in it for eternity! I am so blessed to be married to my soul mate and best friend, but I am even more blessed to be married to a man who loves God even more than he loves me.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. "

I, as well as millions of others, love this Bible Verse, however, it does not merely refer to love in the romantic sense. It also refers to the Love Christ has for us. He died for us so that are sins could be forgiven! Christ's love is the greatest love of all. That is how My  Lobster and I know that are marriage will last forever. We both hold Christ above each other. When we feel like we can't love one another, we will remember that we love Christ and we made a promise to Him that we would always love each other. Remember, love is patient and kind. When the romance is gone, we still should be patient and kind to each other.

Yes, this seems sad, me realizing that the romance may someday "die," but the beauty is that if My Lobster and I continue to live with this in mind then our romance will never die. God will keep it alive, as long as we love Him, and we remember our vows to Him!

One more thing, I know many of you are thinking I am naive... well I am not...
"And looking at them Jesus said to them, With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26 NASB
