I tried my hand at decorating a plate last night, and unfortunately I found out while it was baking that sharpies don't stick to glazed plates. :( Thankfully though, Annie's third birthday will be a Veggie Tales theme, so I'll save this for decor, (can't be used for food though because if I rub it at all the marker will disappear!
However, I had a blast, and will be trying again until I find plates that work!
