Pictoral Blurbs

For Mother's Day Mr. Incredible took me to the Woodlands. We walked the mall, went to different shops and just talked all day. {what we do all the time. Don't you love having your best friend with you 24/7?} Besides reveling in the day- talking about our kiddos to be- this was the highlight of my mother's day:

"Happy mothers day to the greatest mom to be!!! I don't think I have ever me someone with such a giving heart. I know that when the Lord blesses your family with a child in need of love y'all will give it 300%. I admire your passion for
helping children in need of a loving home and remember y'all are almost there!!!" Thank you SO much Erika!!!! This meant so much!!!

{read below for more on Mother's Day}

Here are some pics from my phone so forgive the quality. :)
Bolt loves me more than anything. Seriously, I am not being conceded or anything- he really does. Not that I am complaining. :) I LOVE IT! Here I am on my computer and Bolt is asleep on my lap and INSISTS his head must be on my arm. How can you blog like this??? :)
Yesterday was Mother's Day. From last Mother's Day, I have 2 things that stick out in my mind.

1. I was really upset and no one knew, except for one friend of mine. She came up to me and gave me a long hug that morning. It was like she knew.

2. I have been at my Cornerstone for 5 Mother's Days now, and every year they give out flowers to the women there. I always got one- even when I was 18, single, and obviously NOT a mom. Last year a friend of ours went to hand me a flower and said, "Oh wait, you are not a mom," and took it back. Yeah, just what I needed last year. Rip my heart out.

Yesterday HE DID THE SAME THING. Except this time he gave it to me because he said that I counted as Bolt's mom. The sad thing is- that morning I had told Mr. Incredible the whole story, so I was shocked he did it again. BUT, what REALLY shocked me was for the fact that he knows more about the adoption than what I write on here- so he knows how close we really are. Very insensitive. If I had not come to the realization earlier this week that I REALLY AM am Mom to Be- I may have punched him in the face and left church crying. BUT since I AM a Mom to be- I smiled and took my flower! Just for my friends at CCBC- there is a good chance you know whom I am speaking- I am not mad at him at all! He needs a little more tact, but I am not mad! lol {if I didn't come to the mom to be realization I probably would be though}

The sermon was about Hannah and being a godly mom. Perfect sermon for me and all the moms there. What I especially liked was how our pastor mentioned that her deep desire to have children was from the Lord and completely natural. We have wanted to adopt for so long- I have wanted it sooo bad- sometimes I wondered if it was an idol. Maybe it was, but it also was very natural.

To sum it all up- I have been Hannah before- not about birth children- but about adoptive children. Now I know it is my time, and I am so grateful and joyful! :)

My last post I mentioned how excited I was about a few things:
Here is Mr. Incredible putting in the last pipe!!! {Notice Bolt over there- we find it so cute that he just plopped down and is sitting pretty}
"Houston, we have water!" Not the first time, but here is the LAST ZONE fired up!!!

Something I COMPLETELY forgot for my last post of exciting things- this would have been #1 had I remembered:
We are so close to being done building our church...
AHHHH!!! We walked inside and I was chocked up. Attending our church in a movie theater was nice, but I CAN'T WAIT to have an actual CHURCH to attend every Sunday!!! If you haven't checked it out yet, you MUST!!!! IT IS AWESOME!!! Thank You Lord!!!!

Third Trimester

So excited about a few things:

1. Veggie Tales Live is comin Sept 25- we are so takin the kids!!

2. Stevie Joy Chapman is going to be a Veggie in a Christmas Veggie Tales!!! We can't wait!!! It will have a focus on adoption since the Chapman's are involved- Veggie Tales, Christmas and Adoption- doesn't get much better than that!!!

3. Mr. Incredible is DONE with the sprinklers. Not a big deal or anything. He just HAND DUG 9 ZONES ALL BY HIMSELF. I am so proud!!! :)

So a few days ago, y'all probably realized we here at the Keierleber home had an epiphany. If I was pregnant I would be in my third trimester of the pregnancy. Anyone who is preg, (and especially that far along), is recognized and celebrated on Mother's Day. Just because my kids are not growing in my tummy, does NOT mean that I am not a mom to be, nor should it exclude me from celebrating Mother's Day. :)

Two good friends of mine are TTC, so they got Mommy to be, Mother's day cards from me. I know how hard it is to sit idle by on Mother's Day thinking, "if I had it MY WAY I WOULD be a mommy RIGHT NOW!"

See why it was so revolutionary to me when I realized that I am basically in my third trimester- it is time to get excited- I am ALMOST A MOMMY!!! My kids are already born, and I am just waiting to finish this silly process so I can bring them home- whomever they may be. :)

Tomorrow, Mr. Incredible is taking for out for the day to celebrate! Maybe by Father's Day our kiddos will be home!! :) Mr. Incredible got me this shirt- but I will not wear it till the kiddos come:
l♥ve

Happy Mother's Day to my mom, stepmom, mother in law, and to all you Mommies out there- TTC, Mom's to Be, New Mom's and Vets. :)

Soapbox, Sweet Caroline, and Sox

Ok, I must make a correction from my soapbox yesterday. I was reaching from my Spanish class memories back from 8th grade. I knew Mexico's independence day from Spain(?) was @ September 16/19, and I THOUGHT their Independence day from France was May 5th. Obviously I was wrong and it was only a battle. This was all from memory from 10 years ago- so excuse my mistake. :) However, I still stand by the rest of my post! :)

Moving on...

To finish up my week of videos, I have two more. Both from FENWAY PARK!!!! ♥ We miss Boston sooo badly!!!

Have you seen the movie Fever Pitch? Well, it in there is a scene where at Fenway the crowd sings Neil Diamonds song, Sweet Caroline. Well, the whole game I was dying to sing Sweet Caroline. I thought maybe the movie made it seem more exciting than it really was, but the WHOLE stadium sang, and danced, along. It was AWESOME!!! Seriously, one of my fav memories!!! {since I was videoing, I couldn't sing and dance- so Mr. Incredible, you need to take me back so I can really enjoy this song} Oh, and it is hard to see/hear everyone- 10 times better in person!

Ignore the lady- I had the camera in my lap to look not so obvious and apparently she caught me! lol Didn't notice till I watched it later! lol

This next on is of their rally cry. It is so cool- all throughout the game, you will hear this randomly pop up throughout the stadium. When it came out to right field I turned on the camera- this is only like 5 sec, and like the first video- it is hard to hear everyone- 10 times better in person!

Patriotic Rant, and CUTE VIDEO {both entirely unrelated}

Ok, I am dusting off my soapbox! A boy got sent home yesterday for wearing an American Flag Tshirt. UMMM are you kidding me??? Since it was Cinco de Mayo they thought it would cause controversy. Umm- first of all why do we celebrate Cinco de Mayo- it is MEXICO'S independence day. Last I checked this is AMERICA! I wore something American everyday at school! Gee, I am glad I was never sent home for loving my country!

Secondly I think it is so ridic about the big stink over AZ. They are not saying it is illegal to immigrate there, they are saying it is illegal to be an illegal alien. Um did you catch that- ILLEGAL alien- yeah I thought they were supposed to be illegal in the first place.

One of my favorite things about America is that we are one big melting pot of cultures. Very cool! The Keierlebers immigrated from Germany, Paul's mom, (and later her family too), came here from Korea, and not to mention the only "true" Americans were the NATIVE Americans- our Founding Fathers were immigrants too! I LOVE this about America, but you know what? You HAVE TO DO IT LEGALLY!!! PERIOD!!!!

Now, for just some fun. Here is one of the little girls that spent the week at my house. She had been singing this song all week, and I wanted to catch it on film. Well, when the camera came out she starting screaming it and jumping up and down- which added to the hilarity. :)

"Oh God is bigger than the Boogeyman, He is bigger than Godzilla or the monsters on TV."

Did you notice Joy saying, "Gorilla" instead of "Godzilla?" ;)

Pure Genius

Let me back up a bit. Weeks ago I put Bolt's toy in this box to hide it cause it is a squeaky toy and quite annoying. Well, he heard it drop and saw me put the lid on. I thought for sure he would seek it out. Well, he never did. Until 2 days ago!

My baby sister Taylor was over and she told me to look. We were in awe, then she told me to grab my camera! I am so glad I did! He is so stinkin smart!!! This is his first time to seek out something and proceed to break it free, and we are so proud. :)

In the end, I say, "do you want to go to Petco?" It is because whenever I say Petco he will look- that is my secret to getting good pics of him- and I wanted you to see his face instead of just his bum! lol

Boys and the Outdoors

I just can't express how happy I am right now. I am so glad God allowed me to see my glass as half full- well, mostly full right now! :) I am after all, a Mommy to be! :) Check out yesterday's post for more info there! :)

However, I am also a little heartbroken. I know 6 marriages in my cohort, (around my age, married less than 5 years), that have broken up/are breaking up/on the verge of breaking up. 6 is a HUGE number really. So sad. I am praying for all of you. Blog readers, please join me in praying for these couples. Some need prayers of salvation, some need prayers of healing, and some need prayers for strength to stay together.

In fun news, Mr. Incredible is ALMOST done installing our sprinkler system! He is doing 9 zones- which is a lot! He has done 8 and he has ONE MORE to go!!! He has done it all by himself with the exception of one zone his dad was able to help him on. I am so proud of my hubz- and so very thankful too in light of my 6 friends mentioned above.

With only one zone to go, he wanted to test them all out, and wanted me to get pics {for the blog} ;). Ok, whatever, I will cause he is so proud, but I am SO glad I did...
LOVE this picture!!! Isn't it the best pic to sum up all his hard work!?! Oh, and he is pointing at Bolt...
Bolt LOVES water and loves the sprinklers!!!
We looked over and he was just sitting there about to get wet. Too funny!

Do you remember the pics from last week of Bolt swinging? Well, last week I was babysitting and I let him go on the playground equipment. I have never let him before in fear he would run off, but since there was 4 of us to chase him, I figured the odds were in our favor. :) {luckily he never did run off} :)

Ok, so in all the pics you can't really see the action, which is the best part. Mr. Incredible and I have always said that Bolt needs to be a show dog or in a movie or something. Check out the video below to see what we mean. :) {ignore my dumb voice! lol does anyone like their voice on film?} Oh, and I didn't even have to teach Bolt to do this- I just encouraged him to keep going up, (as you'll hear- sorry about that), and he did the rest! He is so smart!

This is my first time to post a video! I have a few more to post, (not of Jersey- one from the Red Sox game, and one of the 3 little girls we watched last week). :) Stay tuned!!!

My glass is half full

So this morning I lamented about Mother's day, but today I am singing a new tune. I CAN celebrate mothers' day this year. Last year I was depressed because we were going to adopt, but we had put it on hold so I was sad thinking about how I was almost a mother.

Well, this year I AM a mom to be. Practically- I am 8/9 months pregnant. Really, we are SO close to getting kiddos in our home! I don't think you really understand how close we are!!! :)

So this mothers day I am going to enjoy it as a Mommy to be! PK is taking me on a day trip to celebrate!
Whether we have met them yet or not- THEY ARE COMING!!! We DO have much to celebrate!!! THANK YOU LORD!!!
