Did you see my post from two days ago? Well, I have taken away the heart and decided to just frame it.

It tickles me to see her coloring. :) Makes me so happy. :) I can't wait until I can see what art she comes up with as she gets older. :)

I made this frame with the blue glass beads, even though they look clear here. The clear glass beads give it a rhinestone look. Compliments of Pinterest. It looks better in person I promise. :)

First Outing

We've been in our new town for almost a month now. I had not left the hotel without Mr. Incredible until yesterday.
.
This is the first time in my life I have lived somewhere other than the town I grew up in. Navigating a new area was a little stressful, but I know it will not take long until this place becomes second nature as well. I know once we move into our house it will get even easier, and more like home.

We had a lot of Gymbucks, (thanks Nana Nell!). Among other outfits, we got her this hat and jacket. :)

While shopping, we found these ballerina princesses on sale- 3 for $15! Who could pass up that? Not to mention that these are 3 out 4 of our favorite princesses!

Sweetheart Art

Sweetpea loves to color! She has also discovered the joy of coloring on herself. lol

I got this next idea on Pinterest, (where else, right?). lol You have your child color away then put it in a shape to make a cute piece of art.

The colors of our new living room will be purple, pink and blue so I picked these colors and let her go crazy. :) When we get settled in I will put it in a frame in our living room. :)

ABC's of Truth

I pinned this on pinterest months ago. I think it is so cute and worth purchasing! I wanted to make sure that I agreed with the scripture choices and such before I ordered it.

Being stuck in a hotel is very boring. So I decided to make it myself. It may not be as cute as the original, but I was able to use verses that were important to me and I am sure my kids will appreciate that it is handmade, (it will encourage them to create even if it is not perfect). :)

Please excuse the less than stellar picture. I'm stuck in a hotel, remember? :)

Here are the scriptures I chose. Feel free to use these to make your own alphabet, or choose different scriptures that are important to you. :)

MTCM: Paused

I don't know if y'all noticed, but I have paused my journey. Yes, paused.

Living in a hotel, without a stove, oven, etc kinda makes it hard to eat healthy. Also, I am stuck in bed all day. Literally. I CANNOT wait to get into our house so I can return to my normal work out schedule and recommence my good eating habits.

I am not discouraged, but I am a little bummed. I have put on a few pounds, but I have no doubt that I will lose them and lose the rest to reach my goal. That's why it is on pause, I have NOT quit. :) I was supposed to reach my goal by March, now it will be around April/May. Still not bad. :)

Snack Sunday

At the store today I noticed the mini cookies...perfect sized for my mini 2 year old. ;) Here she is enjoying them- the creator was genius! Mini cookies in a mini serving for your munchkin! While I used to be leary about giving too many sweets to her, since she's so tiny, (20lbs at 2), I don't mind any longer. :) Snack on Sweetpea, snack on. :)
