Prayer Pups

As many of you may have noticed, I have a Prayer Pups comic strip on the bottom of my blog that updates everyday. This was today's and I just love it! It is so true! This little comic has so much truth in it, it is ridiculous! :) I highly recommend visiting the Prayer Pups website and the Prayer Pups blog. Not only will children love it, but like I said it is full of Truth, so adults will love it too! Like I said, just read this comic!

Mr. Bigglesworth?

Yes, this is my precious Jersey... who only 2 posts and 6 hours ago, was so adorable. Since Texas summer is so unruly we had to shave him for his own comfort! He loves it, but he is a little ashamed that he resembles Mr. Bigglesworth from Austin Powers!

Jersey is the sweetest dog in the history of the universe! I can put my mouth up to his when he is eating and nothing... I can take stuff out of his mouth and nothing! He has only growled twice in his whole life... the vet and the groomer. Well, today at the groomers he went over so peacefully. I go to pick him up and the groomer says that he has angry issues! WHAT? My little angel? He just wasn't happy. I also think that since they were so stressed (the other groomer quit) that they didn't take their time to calm him.

Anyway, he is still the greatest dog in the history of the world! Even if he does look like Mr. Bigglesworth! :)

FINALLY!!!!!

MY CAMERA IS FIXED!!!!! I have been going CRAZY since November!!!!!!!

Crazy thing: I think there is a rabid raccoon lurking around our apartment! SCARY! I told the front office, but I don't think they will contact animal control. If Jersey gets rabies, I'll be sooooo angry!!!!!

There's holes in the floor of Heaven ♥

So it looks like we will hit Tstorms in Galveston! Well, on the bright side, We paid good money for the resort room, and we will get our money's worth! :) We are celebrating our anniversary, so being stuck inside is no problem if you catch my drift... ;)


PS, it also rained on our wedding day, good luck right? Well, my sister died 6 months before our wedding, so I remembered the song, "There's Holes in the floor of Heaven." It made me think of Tracie and it made me smile, and I was thankful that it rained.
Well, Sunday we were opening presents and I came to a card my G'ma wrote me back in 2002. That was the year she died... knowing she would not see me get married, she wrote me a wedding card... well since my sister had just died, I assumed I would not get weepy over my G'ma's card... it had been almost 5 years, so it was easier to deal with than my sister. Well, I opened the card and guess what was the first thing I read... "There's holes in the floor of Heaven!" I teared up, and I was SO THANKFUL that it did rain on our day. If it hadn't then her card would have been sweet, but not as meaningful... BUT since it did rain, and the card was written 5 years prior, it was just another sign that there IS a GOD, and He is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Our anniversary weekend... ♥

Monday will be our 1 year Wedding Anniversary! AND, Sunday (the day before) will be our 2 year anniversary of meeting! I can't believe it has only been 2 years since we met! April 6 2006 was the day I met and fell in love with My Lobster! Everyone thought we were crazy for getting married so fast.. we met April 6 2006 and were married April 7 2007! BUT when God brings you together, then what is the point in waiting? I am so happy that I get to spend the rest of my life with My !Lobster He is an amazing man of God, an amazing husband and a future amazing daddy!

I was listening to "Rebecca Lynn" by Bryan White today and the bridge really describes our relationship: "When love is wrong, it dies, and that's the way it goes. But when its right, your love grows!" Couldn't be more true!

Tomorrow My Lobster is taking me to the San Louis resort in Galveston for the weekend! My camera is in the shop so I won't have pictures! :( Maybe I'll have to buy a disposable camera, (terrible quality, I know, but I WANT pictures)! Then on Monday we are going to go to the Taste of Texas for an anniversary dinner! I haven't been there since I was nine and on a field trip, and My Lobster has never been there!

It is crazy to me to think back to 2 years ago where I was in my life, to where I am now! God is so amazing, and He continues to bless me with way more than I could ever deserve!

My Lobster came down to finally meet me in person mid May 2006. We were already in love, so this was a very nerve wracking meeting, but it was a wonderful weekend, (the long distant relationship continued until December 2006).



He proposed on August 21, 2006 at City Hall in Sugar Land, (that first weekend in May we had our first kiss there)! ♥





April 7 2007, we became husband and wife.... our lives began!!!!!!!!

This woman was a guide up the mountains. She wore flip-flops and carried her baby, while all the "gringos" wore hiking boots and had trouble catching their breath! :)
