Third Gotchaversary Celebration

Tomorrow, Tuesday October 29, is Carousel's Gotcha Day- her third Gotchaversary.

To celebrate, we had a mini party for her on Friday at dance class, and afterwards, a few friends joined us to continue the celebration at a park. :)

Her theme was China Girl and Vanellope Von Schweetz. She wore her China Girl dress that day and her Vanellope costume for the fall festivals.

All of her dance friends got some jewelry and a ring pop. It was a hit! :)

E is holding the gift she brought for Carousel. :) She immediately wanted Carousel to play with it, so I let them play. :)

 Playing with the princesses :)
I love this age where they have to open the presents they brought. lol

This sweet girl gave her the jewelry and Carousel had to put it on immediately. :)

The glass is super reflective, but you get the idea. :)
Sometimes it is just easier to hold Carousel during a lesson :)
Carousel and her awesome dance teacher! We love her! She also happens to be adopted! So special! :)

At the park:
Her dance friends had changed out of their dance clothes, but I let Carousel stay in her costume. :)
You never get to see Carousel playing with friends, especially on a playground! One of the moms recommended this park because it was for special needs kids!
I let her have freedom, and I snapped this shot. Then I freaked and ran after her! Lol It was a little too steep for me- she was flying!

Like I said, she never plays with friends, and this was so special to play with her dance friends! :)

The next day we celebrated K's birthday at her party, (post to come).

Another thing that is taken for granted are these little rocking things. Carousel had a blast, but I was nervous because it was so high off the ground and she is not as stable as the typical kid.

They had this elephant that of course we loved, (we are love pachyderms here!). ;)

Look how high off the ground she is...we'll have to return here for therapy! Strong girl!

Riding the Dino with her friends.

It did this mommy heart good to see her playing on the playground with her friends! :)
